Welcome to Our Earth Life - where love for nature and nurturing a connection to our world are at the heart of everything we do. Our mission is to inspire the next generation to be curious, build real skills, and be guardians of our Earth.

As a husband-and-wife team and homeschooling family based in Geelong, Australia, we bring together our Early Childhood expertise, passion for sustainability, and love of nature play to create something we feel is truly special.

We fill our shelves with earth friendly and adventure inspiring resources for all ages - from educational tools and outdoor supplies to fascinating bugs and hands-on learning essentials. Inspired by the beauty of our planet, we aim to spark a lifelong connection to nature in every explorer, and to encourage them to be wild + curious.

Be Wild + curious

Curiosity is more than asking questions—it’s a way of seeing the world. It sparks wonder, fuels discovery, and deepens our connection to people and nature. Similarly, being Wild isn’t just about playing outside; it’s about freedom, courage, and trusting instincts.

At Our Earth Life, we believe curious, wild-hearted kids grow into bold, capable humans who challenge the world, protect it, and never stop asking, what if?

Eco + Ethical Commitment

At Our Earth Life, we care deeply about the impact of every product we bring into the hands of little explorers. We know that raising wild and curious children starts with nurturing a love and respect for nature—and that begins with us, too.

When it comes to our resin specimens, sustainability and ethics influence our decision-making. The specimens we source are not wild-caught, which means they are not taken from natural ecosystems—helping protect the precious balance of our biodiversity. Instead, they come from responsible sources, including insect farms and agricultural environments.

Insect farms may sound unusual at first, but they exist for many reasons—silk production, pollination, scientific study, and natural life cycle education. Many of the creatures used in our specimens have reached the natural end of their life and are then repurposed in a meaningful way: preserved for educational resources that spark wonder, curiosity, and a deep appreciation for the world around us.

Some insects are also sourced from farmers who have experienced crop infestations—giving otherwise discarded insects a second life as tiny teachers in children’s hands. We don’t take this lightly. These choices sit within a complex ethical space, and we reflect deeply on the role our products play in shaping future generations who value life, biodiversity, and sustainability.

Yes, our specimens are made in China—but with care. We’ve built a strong, respectful relationship with our supplier and have clear, shared values around quality, sustainable packaging, and the absolute non-negotiable that we do not support wild-caught specimens.

We’re not perfect, but we are intentional—and always striving to do better for the planet and the little ones who will inherit it.
